About the International Health and Disability Network: IHDN is a new collaboration between the Interactive Health Network, the Institute for Sustainable Health Education and Development, and Health and Disability Services (Australia) focusing on health and disability policy and practice. IHDN seeks to stimulate discussion regarding effective policies for public and private health programs and practices affecting those most marginalised in society. It is an open community for people to discuss key issues in health and development as well as a network for health professionals, people with disabilities and chronic health conditions and those who care for them. We seek in particular to look at public health policy issues affecting health and disability in developing countries and encourage collaboration and a partnership approach.
